Pastor B.L. Russell, Sr., a native of Nashville, TN is the founder and pastor of the Antioch Primitive Baptist Church in Murfreesboro, TN. He attended American Baptist Theological Seminary and received his Doctorate in Christian Education at Emmanuel Theological Seminary of Rossvillle, GA. He formerly served as Vice President of the Sunday School Convention and Clerk of the Cumberland Association of Primitive Baptist. He served as Assistant Dean of the Tri-State Primitive Baptist and Financial Secretary of the Tennessee State Primitive Baptist Convention. He is currently a teacher for the Cumberland Association Sunday School Convention, a member of the Board of Directors of the Huntsville Bible College. Pastor Russell is a member of the Murfreesboro Ministers Alliance and Stand for Children organization of Murfreesboro. He taught for the Tennessee State Probation and Parole Office in Murfreesboro, TN, and has served in the United States Marine Corps. He serves as a preacher, teacher, workshop facilitator, and seminar leader in the Nashville area. He is married to Paulette Mooney Russell and is a proud father and grandfather.
